School Age Gymnastics
Once your child enters Kindergarten, she’ll join our school-age program, with classes grouped by age and skill level. Girls train using age-appropriate equipment and follow progressions based on USA Gymnastics levels.
Classes focus on building strength, flexibility, agility, and body awareness—all in a fun, supportive environment. Gymnastics also develops skills that benefit other sports like soccer, dance, and track by improving speed, coordination, and upper body strength.
Please note - all CLASS enrollments require an Annual Membership Fee.
Kinder 1 Gym
Girls | Kindergarten
45 minute class | $120 per month
This class is appropriate for kindergarten girls. Students will be taught the basic essentials of gymnastics including rolls, handstands, cartwheels, casting on bars, mounts, dismounts and jumping on beam.
Kinder 2 Gym
Invite Only | Girls | Kindergarten
55 minute class | $125 per month
This advanced beginner level class will allow children to expand on basic gymnastics skills such as backbends, round offs, back handsprings over barrels, chin up pullover on bars, mini handstands, jumps and dismounts on beam.
Level 1
Girls | 1st Grade & Older
55 minute class | $125 per month
This introductory level class will allow children to learn introductory gymnastics skills and progressions such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges, front support and casting on bars, squat on vaults, beam mounts, walks, etc.
Level 2
Invite Only | Girls | 1st Grade & Older
55 minute class | $125 per month
This advanced beginner level class will allow children to expand on basic gymnastics skills such as backbends, splits, round offs, back handsprings over barrels, chin up pullover on bars, mini handstands, jumps and dismounts on beam.
Level 3
Invite Only | Girls | 1st Grade & Older
55 minute class | $125 per month
Level 3 is an intermediate level class focusing on back handsprings, handstand forward rolls, cartwheels and handstands on beam, cast back hip circles on bars and handstand flat backs on vault.
Level 4
Invite Only | Girls | 1st Grade & Older
55 minute class | $125 per month
Level 4 is advanced level class focusing on back handspring connections, front tumbling, cartwheels and walkovers on beam, handsprings on vault as well as glides and dismounts on bars.
NOTE: All students progress at varying levels. Children will advance to the next level when they attain specific skills. Please understand Bright Stars teaches skill progressions leading up to specific skills on all events. For example, if a child is unable to do a round-off but has been working on it for a period of time, he/she is likely able to do several of the progressions leading up to that skill. Please understand children reach milestones prior to attaining a specific skill and we pride ourselves on celebrating growth which builds confident children.
