General Questions
Enrollment is ongoing. Children can be enrolled at any time.
For Gymnastics - girls should wear a leotard with hair pulled back (or comfortable clothing for younger children). Boys should wear shorts and a t-shirt.
For Swimming - children should wear a bathing suit and bring a towel. Goggles (except for Parent/tot classes) and swim caps (for children with hair longer than ear length) are required. Children that are not potty-trained are required to wear one of the iPlay Ultimate Swim Diapers that we offer for sale.
Please note - Bright Stars serves many local school districts, so we do not align with any specific district calendar.
For the 2023-2024 School Year Session, Bright Stars will be closed on the following dates:
- Monday, September 4th - Labor Day*
- Tuesday, October 31st (closing at 2:00pm) - Halloween*
- Thursday, November 23rd - Thanksgiving*
- Monday, December 25th thru Saturday, December 30th - Winter Break (Camps and Special Events will be held throughout the week)
- Monday, January 1st - New Year's Day*
- Monday, April 1st thru Saturday, April 6th - Spring Break (Camps and Special Events will be held throughout the week)
- Monday, May 27th - Memorial Day*
School Year classes end Saturday, June 29th.
We will also close at times due to inclement weather. We will email families as well as update our Social Medias if we choose to close.
*Closing marked with an * are entitled to a make-up class.
Please note that Bright Stars determines tuition fees based on 48 weeks of classes- make-ups are not offered for full week closings (Winter Break, Spring Break, time off in between sessions).
Bright Stars has a great pro shop located in suite 4 which is our gym lobby. We carry items to fit all of your gymnastics needs, including: GK leos, GK shorts, pre-wrap, and tape. In suite 3, where the pool is located we have swim caps, goggles and swim diapers (reusable/washable). Be sure to stop in our Pro Shop the next time you visit Bright Stars!
Here at Bright Stars Academy, we have put together gift baskets that can be used for auctions or donation giveaways. Each basket will include a variety of fun themed goodies and can be used to encourage donations to your organization.
We are able to sponsor local events that are a direct benefit to children in our area by providing gift baskets. Just give us a call and we can discuss the details of sponsorship for your next gathering.
We are so sure your child will love their class that we stand fully behind our programs. If after attending your child's class you are not completely satisfied, we ask that you please let our Hospitality Staff know. We’ll do everything we can to correct the situation. If you are still not satisfied, the owner will contact you regarding your options.

Frequently asked questions regarding our TRIAL class
Bright Stars offers a TRIAL class to new members!
We welcome you to schedule a trial class for your children in any one of our Swim, Gymnastics, Tumbling or Warrior programs.
All children who are new to Bright Stars may enroll in one trial class prior to enrollment. The child’s trial should be for a class that is age appropriate or at the anticipated level he/she would be enrolling in. Our instructors will assess your child during the trial class and make a class/level recommendation.
Bright stars Academy offers a trial class to ensure your child enjoys class before enrolling. Secondly, trials allow our staff to place your child in the most successful level based on their current abilities.
Trial classes are offered in any regularly scheduled class with two (2) or more openings. As a trial holds a spot in class for your child, we can schedule one no more than 48 hours in advance of when you would like to participate.
Trial classes can be scheduled no more than 48 hours of a scheduled class. This will allow us to ensure there is space in the class you would like to try. You can see all availability online and register for your desired class directly. Afterwards, just call our Hospitality Team and we will charge the $10.00 trial fee. If you register THE SAME DAY as your trial, the $10.00 will go towards your first tuition fee!
Your child will join a class of enrolled students so they get a 100% accurate representation of what our classes are like.
Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately to safely and productively enjoy his/her class.
Gymnastics Classes: Gymnastics leotard. Leggings or gymnastics shorts may also be worn. Avoid baggy clothing. Hair must be pulled back. No jewelry. No bra tops or crop tops please.
Warrior Classes: Our Ninja Warrior tee, athletic shorts or pants. No buckles, belts or zippers please. Longer Hair must be pulled back. No jewelry.
Tumbling Classes: Leotard or fitted tee/tank with leggings or shorts. Avoid baggy clothing. Hair must be pulled back. No jewelry. No bra tops or crop tops please.
Swim Classes: Swim suit, goggles (for all classes except parent/tot), swim cap (for children with hair longer than ear length), bring towel.
Gym Special Events/Camps/Parties: Comfortable clothing that is not baggy. No buckles, belts or zipper please. Girls are welcome to wear a leotard. No Jewelry. No bra tops or crop tops please.
All Star Team: Leotard. Leggings or shorts are not necessary and optional. Avoid baggy clothing. Hair must be neatly pulled back. No jewelry. No bra tops or crop tops please.
USAG Team: Leotard. Hair must be neatly pulled back into a high bun with a GK scrunchie (This is typically the only brand that keeps the hair in throughout practice.) No jewelry. There are times the girls may wear leggings and/or a fitted shirt during warm up. No baggy clothing is permitted for warm ups.
Your child is not automatically enrolled into the class through a trial. We recommend enrolling your child into class the same day as your trial to guarantee your child's spot in that class. If enrollment is not handled that day, your child will be dropped from that class and the spot will open back up to the public for enrollment.
While many people choose to enroll in the same class for convenience, you are not required to do so. Provided there is space, you can enroll in a class that meets another day or time.
No. New families may enroll immediately as we will pro-rate your tuition for the remainder of the session.
Please refer to our current schedule for class tuition pricing. An annual membership fee of $45 per student (family cap of $75) is also due upon enrollment. Tuition is billed monthly and would be pro-rated depending on your start date.
Payments/Fees
Yes, we have an annual membership fee. The fee is $45 for one child and $75 for families with more than one child. Members receive a special gift during their Birthday Month, and a Membership Hoodie upon enrollment/renewal of their membership. We also offer sibling discounts and a multi-class discount for any child enrolled in more than one class. Current members also receive priority enrollment during each of our enrollment periods for new sessions.
Yes, we truly value our loyal members. Your membership entitles you to priority registration.
Tuition for Swim, Gymnastics, Tumbling, and Ninja Warrior classes covers a month of classes.

To ensure the quality of our team program and an appropriate coach to child ratio we do not offer makeup options for missed team practices.
Tuition for children currently in our swim and gym classes is due two weeks prior to the start of the new pay period. Monthly tuition for team and our tumbling program is due on the 25th of the each month and is applied toward the following month. Tuition for a child just starting out in one of our programs is due at the time of enrollment.

Bright Stars Academy is proud to offer a Referral Reward Program to all our loyal families! We appreciate you spreading the word about our wonderful programs - so, to thank you, we offer $20.00 off your tuition (per family) for each new student that you refer and joins our program for, at least, 1 full pay period! Our greatest compliment is when current members refer us to friends and families and we would like to show our appreciation!
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS... 1. You tell all your friends and family about Bright Stars Academy 2. One (or more) of your friends or family members decide to try out our program. When they enroll in a weekly class for at least one pay period, all they need to do is include your name on their membership form! 3. If that person is a new student and they join for at least one (1) full pay period, you get $20.00 off your pay period!! It's THAT easy!! Earn $20.00 off your next pay period PER REFERRAL. There are no limits on the amount of referral credits you may earn so you could very well refer enough families to actually earn FREE tuition for your child! It's a GREAT WAY to save money for yourself - and to help us expand Bright Stars Academy!!
